The Club is pleased to announce that the controversial, provocative and, above all, entertaining journalist and broadcaster Quentin Letts has agreed to be guest of honour and speaker at the 2016 CBC President’s Dinner .
Letts has made his Fleet Street reputation through writing for The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, The Oldie and New Statesman, and previously for The Times. He is currently The Mail’s parliamentary sketch writer and theatre critic.
He is also a regular guest on BBC programmes, such as Newsnight, Have I Got News For You and This Week (with Andrew Neil) and he presents the BBC Radio 4 series What’s The Point Of…?, in which he questions the purpose of various British institutions.
His published books include 50 People Who Buggered Up Britain, Bog-Standard Britain, and Letts Rip! In a departure from non-fiction, his recently published The Speaker’s Wife won the Beryl Bainbridge Prize for a first novel.
