Sir Malcolm Walker CBE to be guest speaker at CBC President’s Dinner
Founder and Chief Executive of Iceland Frozen Foods plc
The Club is very pleased to announce that Sir Malcolm Walker (Founder and Chief Executive of Iceland Frozen Foods plc) has agreed to be Guest of Honour and Speaker at this year’s President’s Dinner.
A pre-eminent post-War entrepreneurial pioneer, Malcolm Walker has made Iceland into one of the giants of UK retailing, with an annual sales of £3 billion, more than 900 company-owned stores in the UK, Ireland and Czech Republic, 25000 employees and an exporter of its own brand products to more than 40 countries around the world.
He received a knighthood in the Queen’s 2017 Birthday Honours for services to retailing, entrepreneurship and charity.
A forthright speaker with provocative, lively and, often, surprising views on business, red tape and Government policies, there will be strong demand for places at this event
– so early booking is recommended!
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to Sir Malcolm’s charity of preference, The Alzheimer’s Society
