I am proud to be one of the Founder Members of the Club and have been CBC Secretary since 1987. Served as Chairman 2006-08. As a continuing EC Member, it remains a privilege to be at the very heart of such a fine organisation and to have played a part in its formation, growth and, now, further development. The Club is very important to me, both from a social a business networking standpoint and, especially, through the many friendships it has allowed me.  I enjoy the eclectic mix of members and am keen to see the Club advance further, both in terms of membership and in influence as “The Business Voice of Chester”.

Established in 1985, BCPO provides PR, Marketing and Event Organisation services.  I am currently ‘winding down’ but retain my involvement with key business (and personal) clients in, mainly, the Chester/Cheshire and North Wales areas.

Life

---

I have lived in Chester since 1976, the year I married my much younger wife June. After only 36 years in the fair city of Chester I find that I am now almost accepted by The Locals – although, clearly, I still have much work to do. My interests include theatre, cricket (Kent), football (Spurs), politics, writing (am an occasional contributor to local/national newspapers), restaurants, wines, navel-gazing and cross-channel swimming.
