I have been a Club Member for three years and was elected to the EC in 2011.  I find it interesting, enjoyable and valuable to meet different Club Members and guests at Club events and much enjoy the interesting Dinner speakers – as well as the less formal and ‘just fun’ events! I is important that CBC continues to attract as Members the most influential business people in the Chester area and who have the City’s best interests at heart.

I am a Senior Partner with L Lewis (established in 1888) and have some 35 years’ experience in the Ice Cream Industry, both at Retail and Wholesale levels. The business has been a member of the Ice Cream Alliance for over 55 years and over of Ice Cream World for more than 25 years.  Our is a fourth generation business and possibly the oldest in Chester (and certainly one of the oldest in continual family ownership. The business serves customers in Chester, Cheshire, Wirral, Shropshire and North Wales.

My personal interests are Walking, Theatre, Cooking (and eating!) good food, the Druid style of Yoga (I am a registered Student Teacher), Handicrafts, Sewing and Tailoring. I have recently enjoyed helping Chester Operatic Society with their show stage-makeup – and can highly recommend the extremely high standard of their productions (this year it’s ‘The Pirates of Penzance’!).
